OUTREACH MINISTRY

Journey Outreach Ministry

Outreach is important at Journey Church. We want to reach out to help those who need it. We want to be the hands and feet of Jesus, both nearby and far away.

JOURNEY’S OUTREACH MISSION: To see people far from God rescued with real life in Christ. “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.” (NIV) Proverbs 31:8-9

As a body of believers we are stepping out to live the mission. Journey church places 10% of the money given to reach the lost with the gospel, and to defend the poor and the needy outside of the four walls of the church. Our Outreach Ministry regularly highlights opportunities for believers at Journey to serve, to spread Gospel truth and draw closer to the heart of God.

DO YOU WANT TO GET INVOLVED? If you are interested in giving support or getting involved with any of these ministries, please contact Chris & Felecia Athey at outreach@journeykc.com
