21 Days of Prayer – Day 5
Romans 8:26 says: Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
Sometimes we don’t know what to pray or how to pray. That’s when the Holy Spirit empowers our prayer in a way that we can’t. Paul calls this “praying in the Spirit” and that it’s good thing to do to be built up when you need strength.
Jude 1:20 indicates that praying in the Spirit helps to build our faith. So today you may find yourself not knowing what or how to pray for a specific situation or you may find yourself in a weak spot needing strength. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you. Ask him to fill you to overflowing! Pray in the Spirit by faith and see breakthroughs begin to come!
