21 Days of Prayer – Day 13

 In Fasting, Prayer

1 Timothy 2:1-2
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people,2for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.

“All people” definitely includes those in authority over us. Sometimes we might think “what’s the point?” but God has a purpose and a reason for us to pray for our nation, the President, our leaders, our bosses and so on, if nothing else but to change our attitude and heart towards them and to help us see things from God’s perspective. I also believe that prayer changes things…BIG things even! Proverbs 21:1 says:The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, Like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.

Join with me today and pray for America and the leaders of our country. Pray for Missouri and the cities of Liberty, Kansas City or wherever you live. Pray for the Governor, the state legislature, courts, mayors and other city officials, schools, police departments, and churches.

Let’s ask God to prepare our nation and cities for revival!
