The Fuller project has been moved to Friday @ 3pm and Saturday @ 9am. We will meet @ area 2 and go to the location from there. All materials and tools will be provided. I am still in need of at least 5 more volunteers in order to make this go as smooth as possible. This will be a great opportunity to put your faith to work. Please contact me as soon as possible if you are interested in helping.

Thanks

The map isn't finding our house so here are the directions.

From Liberty:
Take 291 West past Price Chopper, QT, etc.
Turn L on Flintlock/turns into 96th St
Turn R on McKinley (first Benson Place entrance)
Turn L at the end of the street (it’s 99th St but then turns into Wallace Ave)
Turn R on NE 100th Ter (Note: 100th Ter, not 100th St)
Our house is on the right

From the west:
From 435, exit on 96th St
Go east on 96th St (away from the driving range)
Turn R at the stop sign, go through the roundabout and continue east on 96th St (it will be the 2nd real road off the roundabout)
Turn L on McKinley (second Benson Place entrance)
Turn L at the end of the street (it’s 99th St but then turns into Wallace Ave)
Turn R on NE 100th Ter (Note: 100th Ter, not 100th St)
Our house is on the right

S - Proverbs 23:17:18 "Do not let your heart envy sinners. But live in the fear of the Lord always. Surely there is a future and your hope will not be cut off.

O - Fear of the Lord and envy are opposites
-hope is destroyed by envy.
-each person has a future.
-hope is a building block of your future.
-hope or a lack of hope is an indication of where you are spiritually.

A - I will turn to the Lord and get my hope from Him. If I see envy or a lack of hope in my life I will use this as an indication to refocus on the Lord.

P - Lord lead me to focus on you and not envy others.

S: "Whoever guards his mouth and tongue keeps his soul from troubles"

Observation: There are over 100 verses in Proverbs that deal with our tongue, the smallest, weakest and softest of the organs, but the most powerful. When used incorrectly it can be like a piercing sword, send a person to their death, be like a net set to ensnare and cause trouble among friends, etc. We are told to guard it---think twice before we speak. Consider the consequences.

Application: On the otherhand, our tongue may be used to be a blessing. When it is under the control of God, He gives the answers and blessings are sure to follow.

Prayer: Lord please continue to help me realize the importance of my words. I submit my conversations to you. May I bring peace and blessings to all who hear my voice. Amen

S----prov 14:23 "In all labor there is profit, but idle chatter leads only to poverty."

O--- oh so many verses about one's mouth in Chp 14. Since I'm very outgoing and like to talk, perhaps this verse explain why I like to keep so busy. It keeps me out of trouble. I'd rather live in prosperity rather than poverty.

A----Keep on doin what I'm doing, keep myself from nonsensical conversations.

P----Lord, continue to direct my steps and put people in my path that I may bless. Fill my mouth with wisdom and help me to be a better listener.

Proverbs 13:24 "He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him disciplines him promptly."

Obseration: I thank God that my parents let their yes by yes and their no be no when training up my brothers, sisters and me. When I decided to allow God to be Lord of my life, there was immediate correction before I received clear direction for my new born again life. Fortunately I replied with an immediate "Yes" to His commands for I wasn't used to negotiating with my parents but just obeying. I was fearful of the consequences from my parents, as well as from God. Now I follow because I love and trust Him. Thank God for the training I received as a child
from the authority in my life, my dad especially.

Application: May I continue to clearly hear the voice of the one who loves me and wants what is best for me so that I may be in the center of His will. May parents today be led by the Word of God and walk in their rightful position in the home so that they will train up children who obey, not only them, but God.

Prayer: Lord, I love you and thank you for your daily correction as well as direction. I will follow wherever you lead. Amen

S - Proverbs 8:35 "He who finds me finds life and obtains favor from the Lord."

O - Wisdom, life and God's favor go together. To seek God's favor is to seek wisdom.

A - Look for wisdom daily. My life is enhanced by the wisdom God shows me.

P - Lord let me seek your wisdom daily and have the courage of faith to act on what you have shown me.

S Proverbs 10:12 "Hatred stirs up strif. But love covers all transgressions."

O- Turn it around - to cause strife is to hate and to cover transgressions is to love.

A - In a tough situation I can work to solve the problem or I can make it worse. The work of righteousness is to bring peace. Isaiah 32:17 I should bring practical love to the situation with peace and reject strife and complaining.

P - Lord let me live in faith by your direction to bring a solution in a tough world.
