God is good!

I just want to take some time to share with everybody how faithful God is! 

Back in December, we felt like God was leading us to change the location of the church.  Sounds simple, but in reality it’s not…trust me!  All along, I have felt like this was not just a location change but a spiritual change as well.  I believe that God was challenging us to trust Him in new and deeper ways in 2008 and the move was all a part of it. 

So there we were around Christmas time knowing that we needed to move in just a couple of weeks.  Since the theater let us store stuff on site, we had no way to transport everything that we had accumulated up to this point.  We were using one of the theaters’ projectors and screen, and another problem was sound and staging issues of moving into a gym.  Needless to say, the change was going to cost a lot more money than we had at the time and, on top of that, we only had a couple of weeks to order things and get it all put together even if we had the money. 

What to do?  Trust God.  So that’s what we did.  Where there is vision, there is provision as the saying goes and God went into action.  One of the great blessings that He had in store for us was a brand new trailer.  Here is a picture of it:

 

God spoke to someone’s heart and they just gave us one!  As far as all the other needs go, God has brought us back to that place financially that we were before the move.  God is faithful!  Now we look ahead to what he has in store for us in 2008.  I’m seeing pieces of the puzzle and it looks very interesting to say the least.  It will be challenging but there will also be great rewards.  Buckle your seatbelts, God is on the move!
