Our History

In January of 2006, while walking and praying in a field, God spoke these words in my heart…Something’s going to change. This began six months of seeking and searching to find out what that meant.

In June of 2006, after much prayer, God revealed that he wanted us to launch a church. The thought of starting a church didn’t excite me at first until God began to reveal the nature of our mission. We began to dream of what it would be like for a place to be full of real people, encountering God and reaching the city. A core team began to emerge. We sold our houses, packed our bags and moved to a city where we didn’t know anybody.

In October of 2006, we started having monthly services in the Liberty Community Center, moved to a school for a couple of months, then a theater and finally Shoal Creek Elementary where we are meeting currently. It has been more than just a journey of locations, it’s been a deep spiritual journey as well.

The Story that God is telling through this generation is worth giving your life to. I hope you join us on the journey!
